Type of Flat Feet

As you will have understood, if you have flat feet, it is important to correct them, but also to choose and wear the right shoes.
An optimal shoe for flat feet will be one that supports both your foot well as well as your ankle.
Feet and shoes must therefore coexist well!

Characteristics of a good shoe

• Good arch and foot support
• Enough room for your toes > no narrow shoes
• A firm heel
• A flexible sole (which you can even remove to replace it with an orthopedic sole if necessary)
• No heels over 6 cm (imbalance and excessive pressure)
• No completely flat heel either (shocks are not well absorbed)
• The best: a heel of at least 1 cm and up to 5 cm maximum
